Fluid Monitoring Systems

This Monitoring System is provided as a package to be added on to any lube oil or hydraulic system that does not use a water based oil. These assemblies provide the following capabilities

• Measures particle sizes of 0-5 microns – output signal of 4-20mA for this range of particle sizes

• Measures particle sizes of 6-14 microns – output signal of 4-20mA for this range of particle sizes

• Measures particle sizes of 15 and sizes up in microns – output signal of 4-20mA for this range of particle sizes

• Water content to saturation of the oil by water. Alarm can be produced at setpoints of water content, but this is only a ‘go / no go’ type sensor – it is either good and below your setpoint, or bad by being above your setpoint on water content.

Option – Water content with 4-20 mA output rather than just an alarm – 0-2% water content is equal to 4-20mA range.

Works on lubricating oils for gas compressors / air blowers where the size of particulates in the oil is of a concern. This is not an analyzer for types of particle content, but rather just the size and quantity of the particulates. Main use would be to protect servo valve or proportional valve systems that are sensitive to dirt content in hydraulic systems, and to give warning before the fluid is contaminated enough to cause servo valve / proportional valve problems.
